This is a very unique and rare piece of ‘80's metal memorabilia! This is a custom five disc award titled RATT - PLATINUM FOR A DECADE -

 

One was made for each band member to commemorate the sale of over 10 Million records worldwide. This one was Stephen Pearcy's. From what I understand there were only the five made.

 

The display is huge, 41 ½ inches wide by 33 ½ inches tall by 1 ½ inches deep. It is made of a grayish brown wood grain frame then covered by plexiglass.

 

The Platinum discs are the bands first five records.

Ratt - (Timecoast label)
Out of the Cellar - (Atlantic label)
Invasion of your Privacy - (Atlantic label)
Reach for the Sky - (Atlantic label)
Dancing Undercover - (Atlantic label)

 

Each has a Platinum cassette that reads PLATINUM SALES AWARD except for Out of the Cellar which reads MULTI-PLATINUM SALES AWARD and a 4 X 4 color picture of the album cover.

 

There is a silver engraved plaque that reads PRESENTED TO STEPHEN PEARCY.

 

Stephen sent me this award in 2004 and personalized it and signed it. It reads:

To Joe, Thanx for being a part of TFE! You kick fuckin' ass!

 

The award weighs about 20 pounds and is in excellent condition giving its age. There are a couple of scratches in the plexiglass, some marks about the frame and two of the PLATINUM SALES AWARD plates on the cassettes have slid down a little.

 

The back brown paper seal is in good condition and has a sticker with the manufacturer's info: Creative Classics 559 Tremont Ave. Orange, New Jersey 07050 (then the phone number).

 

Shipping is FREE and will include insurance. Shipping to the UNITED STATES ONLY! This is too large and unique of a piece to take a chance with international shipping. If you are an international buyer and have a United States shipping address that is fine.
